Wearing a helmet is good advice whenever you operate a motorcycle ,ATV, or bicycle. A recent accident shows what happens if you do not. The benefits of wearing safety equipment are always more obvious after the accident. One of the most common factual situations I see in practice involving car accidents involves motorists pulling out from stop signs into the path of other motorists. Another death occurred last night in the Rome area when a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle. The investigation has not yet revealed the details of the crash. Yesterday there was another severe car accident in the Adirondacks involving young people and alcohol. Apparently, the vehicle went off the road and beer cans were found outside the vehicle. Downtown Syracuse can be dangerous for both pedestrians and drivers. The roads have restrictions regarding left hand turns however that does not stop motorists.
