It appears that several serious car accidents occurred last night with the most serious having taken place on the Thruway. It appears that a car crossed the median and struck another vehicle head-on. Tragically, it appears that a six year old child was in one of the cars and was serious injuries. In addition, it appears that the child lost a parent in that crash. In New York the wrongful death statute is very complicated and requires an expertise to protect the loved ones of those who were caused to die as the result of the negligence of others. Thhis young child has numerous years of expenses that need to be recovered. If you have any questions regarding these issues please do not hesitate to call our office.
