We have to be extremely careful when travelling in busy parking lots as pedestrians are constantly crossing and children can dart out from parked vehicles. Most shopping centers now have appropriate traffic devices and cross walks however some older ones have yet to be designed. In any event, regardless of the parking lot please drive slowly and watch for pedestrians.

Recently, a man was struck at the Wal-Mart in East Syracuse.

Emergency responders are investigating reports of a person who was struck by a vehicle in front of the Wal-Mart along Manlius Center Road in East Syracuse.

As attorneys we see far too many pedestrians struck by motor vehicles and the resulting injuries are usually severe. Please be careful.
