As probably everyone is aware construction has begun on almost all our roadways. If anyone has been on the Thruway eastbound you are probably aware of it first hand as you were most likely stuck in traffic for an hour. In any event traffic paterns change quickly during construction season and we must be aware of the workers as well as other vehicles.
Recenlty, an accident occurred on the Thruway causing serious injuries.
A tractor trailer and two cars collided about 8 p.m. in the westbound lanes, reducing traffic to a single lane for an hour as crews cleared the wreckage.
