Anyone that has driven a motorcycle knows that ideally we do not want to be out in inclement weather. The wet roads typically become slick and thus dangerous. Last night an unfortunate cyclist was out in the bad weather and hit a curve too quickly. He was not discovered on the roadway until eight hours later and apparently suffered serious spinal injuries.

As indicated by the report:

Madison County Sheriff's deputies said David Harp Jr., 36, of Pine Ridge Road, Canastota, told them he was traveling west on Stephens Road in the town of Lenox at around 10 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle on wet pavement. According to deputies, Harp went off the road and flipped several times after hitting a ditch.

Please be careful on the roadways. If you are involved in a motorcycle accident you may need a lawyer as the insurance rules differ significantly from car accidents.
