The public has a misconception about motorcycles and their riders. Most people if you ask them about motorcycles they would say that the riders are reckless and cause accidents. Although this sometimes is true for those younger riders on sport bikes it is mainly untrue about older operators. In fact, the age and occupations of motorcyclists has become very diverse over the years with professionals such as doctors and laywers becoming avid riders particularly of harley davidsons.

Rather, what causes accidents is inattention and not seeing what is there to be seen. In addition, drugs and alcohol have catastrophic consequences particularly when a motorist strikes a motorcycles due to the lack of protection. Last night a 19 year old struck a couple on a Harley. The motorist was found to be intoxicated and also in the possession of drugs. Luckily, it appears the couple was not severely injured.
