Over the weekend another cyclist was injured due to an inattentive motorist.

Benjamin M. West, 25, of 3845 Eager Road, Jamesville, was riding the bike at Route 370 and Highland Drive at 9:30 p.m. when he collided with a westbound car driven by Steven D. Bacon, 45, of 404 Third St., Liverpool.

Once again the driver of the car turned in front of the cyclist causing the collision. This is approximately the fifth such collision of the summer and the motorcylce season is only about six weeks old. Again, as I indicated in previous posts please be on the watch for motorcycles.
