If you have ever been injured during your employment you are aware of how frustrating Workers Compensation can be as it takes hearing after hearing to get anything accomplished. However, depending on the particular facts of your case, you may also have a personal injury claim against a responsible third-party. This arises most often in slip and falls where someone other than your employer is responsible for the maintenance of the building or parking lot and in construction accidents as special laws have been enacted to protect workers that place responsiblility on the owner/general contractor of the project. If you have any questions regarding these issues please do not hesitate to call our office.
